General terms and conditions

Conditions of participation

All events, courses and lectures are offered by the Wiener Schule für Osteopathie GmbH (WSO). Participation in our trainings, courses and lectures requires a normal mental and physical resilience and is at your own risk. The following regulations apply to the event formats in Vienna, please note that for introductory seminars in Klagenfurt the general terms and conditions of the Fortbildungszentrum Klagenfurt (FBZ) apply. Courses, trainings, seminars and lectures at WSO are subject to different specifics and admission requirements. A distinction is to be made here:

Graduates of the basic training or a university course of the WSO and other schools of osteopathy are admitted to the postgraduate seminars.
Students of the WSO and other schools of osteopathy are admitted to the Open Seminars.

Registration conditions

Registration for the Postgraduate or Open Seminars is preferably done via the web form or otherwise by mail or post.

Participation fees

Depending on the regulations, the participation fee is to be paid before the event or at the beginning of the event. In case of absence, later entry into or earlier withdrawal from an ongoing training or course series, the entire participation fee must be paid. There is the possibility of payment by instalments, which must be announced at the time of registration. The participation fees are exempt from VAT.

Teaching unit (UE)

Unless otherwise stated, we understand a lesson unit to be 45 minutes.

Cancellation conditions & withdrawal

Please note the different cancellation and withdrawal conditions that are already included in the course contract for our training. For the individual seminars (such as Postgraduate or Open Seminars) you will find the cancellation conditions online at the registration mask.

Right of withdrawal

Only for consumers

For distance selling transactions, a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract also applies to digital content (e.g. online course, e-books, etc.) (§ 11 FAGG).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us, Wiener Schule der Osteopathie GmbH, address: Frimbergergasse 6, 1130 Vienna, Telephone +43 (0) 1/879 38 26 - 0, E-Mail Address: datenschutz@wso.at, by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter or e-mail sent by post) of your decision to revoke this contract.
You can find the cancellation policy and the cancellation form here.

Cancellation of the right of withdrawal (§ 18 para. 1 no. 11 FAGG)

In the case of digital products, there are the following special features with regard to the right of withdrawal:

a) If a digital product (e.g. online course, e-books, etc.) is purchased and the entire content is made available directly, the buyer waives his/her right to object.

b) We refer to this directly before completion of the order/booking by obligatory checkboxes, as well as on our booking confirmation with the following formulations:

- I hereby expressly agree that the performance of the contract will be commenced before the expiry of the otherwise existing withdrawal period (cancellation period).
- I confirm that I acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal (right of cancellation) in the event of premature commencement (before expiry of the otherwise existing withdrawal period/cancellation period) with the performance of the contract - after provision of a copy or confirmation of the concluded contract on a durable data medium including the above declaration of consent and this confirmation of acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal (right of cancellation) together with the statutory information (§ 4 para 1 FAGG), insofar as this has not already been provided previously on a durable data medium.

Cancellation of events

WSO reserves the right to cancel courses for important reasons, such as failure to reach the minimum number of participants. In this case, course fees paid will be refunded without deduction. No liability will be accepted for additional expenses incurred (travel and booking expenses, hotel costs,...). WSO reserves the right to change course content and/or lecturers.
